about

I borrowed my pals (Short Pockets) computer for a month to record this album. I remember when it was done, I (and some friends) made like 40 unique album covers by hand, and i also included a unique poem in each homemade CD envelope. Then I had my CD release party over at Bernies in Columbus, OH. No one showed up except for my friends, because i did zero promotion. Then I got way too messed up and did the show for my dudes (who drove in from Chicago and sat at the bar all night, claiming to be in the band, demanding free whiskey (and actually getting lots of free whiskey)). I ended up passing out the CD's to all the regulars (alcoholics) at Bernies, only a few of which actually saw or noticed the show. Anyway, I remember the night culminated with my buddy passing out drunk on the slanted roof of our neighbors storage shed. We got him down no problem! Here we are, 6 years later, and now the album can be yours!

Country Death Los Angeles, California

Country Death is an idiot savant that has been around for about a decade, give or take some years. He has played music in over 75 American cities, including Kenosha. These songs were recorded in studios and bedrooms, on computers and four tracks (some analogue, some digital), sometimes on drugs, sometimes sober. Thank you for listening. ... more
