about

I wrote all of these songs in Los Angeles over a year ago. Right now I live in a more rural setting. In fact I recorded them in my shed. That's how rural. I work in a shed. I am particularly suited for this kind of pandemic living, as I like being alone. For the last year I've been writing fiction and not doing much else besides walking and house painting and cooking and cleaning and foraging and goofing around with my love. As far as the end of the world scenarios go, I've got it pretty good. But I do recognize that everything feels broken. Then again, I don't recall a time when everything felt OK. I guess if everything is a mess, then it might potentially get cleaned up? It's Chinese New Year today. The year of the Ox. So maybe that's the change we need. The Ox plus this new EP and everything should be pretty good from now on. Thanks for listening to my music.
